Germany: 3rd IFOAM Trade Symposium in Nuremberg

The 3rd IFOAM Trade Symposium: Finding the Competitive Advantage - A Challenge in these Uncertain Times will take place in the Shanghai Room in the CNN Ost portion of the Congress Centre in Nuremberg, Germany, on February 16, 2010. The event will feature experts in market research and retailers who will explore the impacts of the financial crisis on organic markets and highlight the attitudes of today’s consumers. During the Symposium, attendees will be given the opportunity to ask questions and exchange with the speakers.
 
In 2007, IFOAM chose the topic: Inbetween discount and premium: Friend or foe, and invited key leaders in the organic trade industry to discuss the implications of large scale conventional businesses entering the organic marketplace. For 2008, IFOAM continued by focusing on Global Sourcing: An issue of credibility. After a break in 2009, IFOAM will continue with a symposium this year.
